What this site keeps, and what it does not.

Readings you keep are stored in your browser, on your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes them. The draw, the reading and the sky are all computed on the page; while you read, nothing you type is sent anywhere.

If you give an email address when you keep a reading, that reading (the cards, what you said, the sky, your birth decan if you gave a date, and the fuller reading if one was written) is sent to that address and filed under it on our server, so it opens on any device from the link in the mail. The fuller reading is written by a language model from those facts; the facts are sent to the model's provider for that purpose and to no one else. Your address is stored as a keyed hash, not in clear, and is used only to send you what you kept. No newsletters, no sharing, no selling. Choose Forget this one on the kept page to remove a reading from the server as well as from your device.

If you buy a fuller reading, the payment is taken by Stripe, in their form; the card details never touch this site. Stripe passes us the address you type there, and it is used to send you that reading and for nothing else. The reading is filed under the payment for a year so it can be shown again if the page is closed before it arrives.

A birth date, if you give one, is used to compute your birth decan and is kept with the reading on your device, and with the reading on the server if you had it sent.

The card of the day, if you tick the box when you keep a reading. That is a separate thing from having the reading sent, and only a ticked box does it. Your address goes to Resend, who send our mail and hold the list, and it is used for the daily card and nothing else. Every one of those mails carries an unsubscribe link, and using it takes you off the list. The list is never sold, shared or rented, and nothing is sent that you did not ask for.

Analytics. The site counts page views and measures load times with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which do not use cookies and do not identify you.

Cookies. None. Your day-or-night choice, your kept readings and the link to your sent readings are kept in your browser's local storage.

Without an address, this is the whole of it: nothing leaves your device.
