Decan Tarot
Decode

Interpret a tarot spread you laid yourself.

Put the cards you pulled into the positions you pulled them for, and this reads them the way the table would: each card in the place it landed in, the places against each other, and, for the numbered cards, the ten degrees of the zodiac the Golden Dawn gave it. It is the same reading the site writes for its own draws. Nothing is sent anywhere and you do not need an account.

What this does that a list of card meanings does not

A card does not mean the same thing everywhere it lands. The Tower in the position a spread calls the outcome is a different sentence from the Tower in the position it calls what you can see, and that difference is the whole of what a spread is for. Most lookups answer the first question, what the card means, and stop. This one reads the card in its place, then reads the places against each other, which is the part people are usually stuck on.

What it will not pretend

A reading drawn on this site comes from a deck sealed before you touch it, with the seed published underneath so the draw can be checked afterwards. This one cannot do that and does not claim to: you shuffled, you cut, you chose. There is no seed and no proof, because the randomness was yours. What is still computed rather than written is the sky line: where the Sun, the Moon and the five classical planets are at the minute you read, and whether any of them is standing on the ten degrees your card owns.
