Three of the twenty-four to start with. Or ask a question above and the right one is laid for it instead.
Take one.
The reading.
The two of you: you, them, and what is between you.
Two cards for the two people and a third for the thing neither of you is naming. The third one is the spread. It does not predict what they will do, because a deck cannot know that, and it says so rather than guess.

- 2Them
- 3What is between you
The positions, and how to read a card in each
- 1You
- Not your whole character: how you are standing in this, now, in relation to them. A card here is how you are showing up, which is often not how you think you are. Read it first, because it is the only one of the three you can act on.
- 2Them
- How they stand in it, as far as a card laid on your table can show, which is as far as you can see from your side. The card cannot read their mind and this reading will not pretend to. What it can show is the shape of the space they are taking up between you.
- 3What is between you
- The third card is the spread. Not you, not them: the thing itself, which has its own weather and often its own wishes. When this card is stronger than the other two, the relationship is carrying the people rather than the other way round.
Already laid this one on your own table? Read the cards you pulled, in these positions, with the same engine.
The cards are Pamela Colman Smith's, drawn in 1909. The draw is sealed before you touch the deck, so it can be recomputed by anyone, and nobody including the engine sees a card before you do. Readings here never give dates except the sky's, and never give medical, legal or financial specifics.
