The reading.
Mind, body, spirit: three cards for the state you are in.
Not a decision spread. It is for the days when nothing specific is wrong and something is, and you want to know where it is sitting. Three cards, one each, and nothing medical: this is a reading, not a diagnosis.

The positions, and how to read a card in each
- 1Mind
- Where your thinking is, not what you think. A busy card here means the noise is upstairs; a still one means the trouble, if there is any, is somewhere else. Read it as weather.
- 2Body
- Where you are physically: tired, held, restless, fed. Tarot has no opinion on your health and this reading will not offer one; the card is about how you are carrying yourself, which you already know and may not have said.
- 3Spirit
- The part that is neither thought nor body: what you are for, at the moment. This is the card that tends to answer a question you did not ask. When it disagrees with the other two, it is the one to listen to.
Already laid this one on your own table? Read the cards you pulled, in these positions, with the same engine.
The cards are Pamela Colman Smith's, drawn in 1909. The draw is sealed before you touch the deck, so it can be recomputed by anyone, and nobody including the engine sees a card before you do. Readings here never give dates except the sky's, and never give medical, legal or financial specifics.
